Priorat the vines will be found on slate covered slopes in a countryside reminiscent of the hillsides of the Portuguese Douro or the German Moselle. The exceptional climatic conditions and soil offer a home to wines with enormous personality. The cultivation of the vineyards has opened up, in very difficult conditions on the steep hillsides, where the work of man is indispensable, although recently new terraces have been made to overcome the unevenness.
